Remote Accounting and Reporting Analyst in Croatia

Descriere

  • Produce accurate and timely financial and management reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate results, costs, variances, trends, and KPIs, translating findings into actionable management insights.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Gather budget assumptions and financial inputs from stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts, explaining material variances.
  • Record and post accounting entries in NetSuite.
  • Reconcile accounts and costs, researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Apply accounting standards to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Work with external accountants on data requests and compliance matters.
  • Find and implement automation opportunities for recurring finance and reporting work.
  • Contribute to daily accounting operations with internal stakeholders and external accountants across multiple countries.

Cerințe

  • At least two years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a comparable finance position.
  • Strong reporting and analytical capabilities, including the ability to communicate findings to non-finance colleagues.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience using an ERP system such as NetSuite or SAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large or complex datasets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to understand broader business context.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Submit a resume in English.
  • FP&A experience is desirable.
  • Experience automating reporting, reconciliations, or data collection with Power Query, SQL, Python, or BI tools is desirable.
  • Experience working with international entities and external accountants across countries is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and financial compliance is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Croatian payroll regulations and payroll processing is desirable.
