Descriere

  • Translate project and system requirements into clear hardware architectures with cross-functional teams
  • Resolve technical issues, keep projects on schedule, and collaborate with technical contributors
  • Build, debug, and test prototypes and production hardware
  • Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide ongoing technical support
  • Research and implement innovative approaches for advanced designs
  • Form multidisciplinary teams to create reliable, cost-effective solutions
  • Solve complex technical problems, develop requirements, recommend approaches for unclear or incomplete customer needs, and adapt to changing requirements
  • Support business development by leading proposal preparation and engaging with sponsors
  • Identify program- and system-level risks and develop and execute mitigation plans
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary work across functional teams and report status to project leaders and customers
  • Develop, document, and teach engineering best practices to less experienced colleagues
  • Develop architectures, design circuits, run simulations, support ECAD layout, and verify and test designs
  • Perform engineering work across the full lifecycle, from planning and requirements development through documentation, testing, and deployment
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency with electronic design
  • Ability to produce detailed design specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering theories and procedures
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills for achieving program goals
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if selected
  • Ability to work in the office most days
