- Translate project and system requirements into clear hardware architectures with cross-functional teams
- Resolve technical issues, keep projects on schedule, and collaborate with technical contributors
- Build, debug, and test prototypes and production hardware
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide ongoing technical support
- Research and implement innovative approaches for advanced designs
- Form multidisciplinary teams to create reliable, cost-effective solutions
- Solve complex technical problems, develop requirements, recommend approaches for unclear or incomplete customer needs, and adapt to changing requirements
- Support business development by leading proposal preparation and engaging with sponsors
- Identify program- and system-level risks and develop and execute mitigation plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary work across functional teams and report status to project leaders and customers
- Develop, document, and teach engineering best practices to less experienced colleagues
- Develop architectures, design circuits, run simulations, support ECAD layout, and verify and test designs
- Perform engineering work across the full lifecycle, from planning and requirements development through documentation, testing, and deployment
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
- Proficiency with electronic design
- Ability to produce detailed design specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Thorough knowledge of engineering theories and procedures
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills for achieving program goals
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if selected
- Ability to work in the office most days
