Onsite Warehouse Operations Manager, Second Shift

Lead second-shift warehouse operations for GXO Logistics in the United States. Oversee people, safety, quality, equipment, compliance, and customer commitments.

Descriere

  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and team members to fulfill customer commitments
  • Apply GXO quality policies and establish procedures that support quality objectives
  • Advise supervisors on personnel, quality, and safety matters
  • Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate warehouse staff
  • Recommend initiatives that improve operational performance
  • Manage equipment and coordinate maintenance requirements with the maintenance team
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure reports are completed on schedule
  • Enforce safe work practices and maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards
  • Direct supply chain activities that promote workforce engagement, customer retention, and operational efficiency

Cerințe

  • At least four years of relevant professional experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using computerized scanning equipment
  • Flexibility to work changing schedules and planned or unplanned overtime, including weekends
  • Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO environment
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement methods
  • Background in warehousing or third-party logistics operations
  • Ability to monitor and enforce safety procedures across departments
  • Strong problem-solving and statistical analysis capabilities
  • Ability to lift objects of varying shapes, sizes, and weights
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
  • Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse conditions
  • May need to complete and pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
