  • Translate broad commercial questions from senior leaders and client-facing colleagues into clear, answerable questions
  • Convert analytical findings into reusable products instead of one-off analyses
  • Manage analytical product delivery from initial discussions through production use
  • Guide the development of reusable components, libraries, frameworks, templates, and working practices
  • Create configurable, well-documented, maintainable products that can be handed over effectively
  • Follow the firm’s software development lifecycle and governance standards
  • Contribute to software development processes within a small product team
  • Develop colleagues’ technical capabilities, including through code and work reviews
  • Keep delivery moving as priorities and requirements evolve

  • Have practical experience with several of Python, Shiny for Python, Quarto, git, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Terraform, or comparable tools such as R, Shiny, tidyverse, Streamlit, Dash, or scientific and quantitative computing
  • Build, read, write, debug, and review code without AI coding agents
  • Experience in Employee Benefits, Pensions, or Insurance is not required
