Junior DevOps Engineer – Santiago Hybrid
Support CI/CD automation, infrastructure, and environment operations for the MX platform in a hybrid Santiago role. Help deliver reliable SaaS, cloud, and on-premises services across development, testing, and production.
Descriere
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering integration, testing, and deployment
- Monitor pipeline reliability, performance, and operational stability
- Automate build, packaging, and deployment workflows
- Apply Git branching, tagging, and artifact-management practices
- Support releases with validation, smoke tests, and rollback procedures
- Develop and manage version-controlled FreeMarker templates in Git
- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and retirement
- Create reusable automation components and replace manual work with scripting
- Deploy and administer MX environments across development, testing, and production
- Standardize environments to improve reproducibility and compliance
- Support SaaS and hybrid configurations spanning multiple clients and environments
- Implement and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Maintain end-to-end observability across platforms and delivery pipelines
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and improve reliability, SLAs, and operational KPIs
- Handle data provisioning, masking, sampling, reduction, migration, sanitization, and reconciliation
- Provide technical escalation support for platform and environment incidents
- Diagnose infrastructure, pipeline, and environment problems
- Coordinate issue resolution with support and product teams and document outcomes
- Partner with development, QA, product, and client teams to facilitate delivery
- Advance automation-first DevOps, continuous delivery, and shift-left testing practices
- Improve internal tools, documentation, standards, knowledge sharing, and onboarding
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- 1–2 years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines in complex environments
- Advanced proficiency with Git
- Proficiency with FreeMarker template language
- Scripting experience in Shell, Python, and Groovy
- Experience administering Linux or Unix systems
- AWS experience preferred
- Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling
- Exposure to SaaS or distributed architectures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure in production environments
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative, team-focused approach
- Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement
- Production or client-facing experience preferred
