Descriere

  • Develop practical skills in data engineering, analytics and data testing
  • Use Seriös ONE, the AI-enabled, metadata-driven Data & AI Operating System
  • Support client projects involving the design, development, testing and understanding of trusted data solutions
  • Prepare and analyse datasets
  • Create data models, build warehouse tables and develop data pipelines
  • Use cloud data services such as Azure, AWS and Databricks
  • Apply SQL and Python in data solutions work
  • Support analysis and produce reports and dashboards
  • Spot patterns and trends and explain findings to stakeholders
  • Contribute to test plans and create test cases
  • Produce clear defect reports and perform structured testing
  • Learn how automated tests integrate with delivery pipelines
  • Join requirements discussions and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
  • Document work clearly while balancing quality, value, effort, cost and delivery timescales
  • Move from initial training and development into delivery on live client projects

Cerințe

  • A degree, equivalent qualification or demonstrable learning in data, computer science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field
  • At least a 2:1 degree classification
  • Basic knowledge of databases, data pipelines, APIs, cloud platforms, data warehousing, analytics or software testing
  • Practical SQL experience and exposure to at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or R, through study, personal projects, a placement or employment
  • A clear interest in developing across data engineering, data insights and data testing
  • Curiosity, problem-solving ability and motivation to build a career in data solutions
  • Experience through a placement, internship, graduate project, bootcamp or personal portfolio in data, analytics, software development or testing is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with tools or platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Jira, Azure DevOps, version control, CI/CD, containers or Infrastructure as Code is advantageous
