Descriere

  • Manage several concurrent Unanet ERP engagements, including full implementations and short-term add-on projects.
  • Convert government contractors’ business and accounting needs into effective system configurations.
  • Configure Unanet ERP for invoicing, revenue recognition, labor costing, cost pools, overhead allocation, and project accounting.
  • Deliver implementation, optimization, expansion, training, data-load, and other customer projects independently or as lead.
  • Collect requirements and complete configuration work, including foundational data loads.
  • Guide customers through their first month-end close and reconciliation cycle, covering A/R, A/P, WIP, unbilled amounts, and bank reconciliations.
  • Deliver customer training and encourage adoption of configured workflows.
  • Validate project scope, assumptions, dependencies, deliverables, and completion criteria.
  • Assist with project scoping, effort estimates, and delivery planning.
  • Work with Project Managers to keep engagements on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide clear updates on project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and customer responsibilities.
  • Balance work across concurrent engagements while meeting utilization expectations.
  • Support larger implementations with Senior Consultants and take ownership of assigned workstreams.
  • Coordinate handoffs among Project Management, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and other internal teams.
  • Apply Unanet’s milestone-based implementation methodology and Professional Services procedures.
  • Help improve Professional Services processes and implementation practices.
  • Take part in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Unanet product features and functionality.
  • Complete orientation, product training, peer shadowing, configuration, and training activities during the first 90 days.
  • Work toward achieving the required billable utilization target.

Cerințe

  • At least three years of experience in ERP or accounting-software implementations, business consulting, accounting, or a comparable combination of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Business consulting experience, preferably in a customer-facing role focused on translating requirements into practical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of accounting processes such as invoicing, A/R, A/P, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and project or cost accounting.
  • Experience with accounting or ERP platforms and with converting business needs into configurations or process recommendations.
  • Proficiency in managing and analyzing large data sets in Excel.
  • Ability to scope, organize, and oversee multiple workstreams and customer engagements while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing abilities, including explaining accounting, process, and system concepts to varied audiences.
  • Ability to deliver short-term, fixed-scope projects while balancing expectations, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Ability to satisfy the identity-verification and security-access requirements tied to Unanet’s compliance obligations.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, implementation work, and training.
  • CPA or another relevant accounting credential.
  • Experience serving government contractors or familiarity with government-contracting accounting requirements.
  • Experience implementing or extensively using government accounting or ERP platforms such as Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems.
  • Experience in project-based accounting environments.
  • Experience scoping, estimating, or delivering small implementation, optimization, or add-on projects.
