Full-Stack Java Engineer, Workforce Management (Remote, New York)
Build Java, React, and cloud-native software for Miratech’s Workforce Management and Customer Experience solutions. Develop APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, and automated delivery pipelines.
Descriere
- Create, test, and support scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and sound engineering practices.
- Develop responsive, accessible web applications with React, TypeScript, and reusable components.
- Design and use REST APIs following an API-first development model.
- Maintain well-defined OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and robust error handling.
- Build modular applications with microservice, object-oriented, and event-driven design patterns.
- Use Node.js for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend layers, integrations, and development tools.
- Model and tune PostgreSQL schemas and queries for efficient data access.
- Connect internal and external systems through REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other integration approaches.
- Containerize services and support cloud deployment, configuration management, and consistent environments.
- Create and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with automated tests, quality gates, and repeatable releases.
- Add structured logs, metrics, traces, and actionable application error reporting.
- Investigate production and functional issues while improving performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability.
- Partner with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams on design reviews, planning, and continuous improvement.
Cerințe
- At least five years of full-stack software development experience, including responsibility for production applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Java and Spring, especially Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing.
- Strong frontend experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based architecture, state management, and current testing practices.
- Working knowledge of Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components.
- Demonstrated ability to design REST APIs and microservices for maintainable distributed applications.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience creating efficient PostgreSQL or comparable relational database models.
- Experience building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write technical documentation and lead workshops with clients.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API architecture.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and event-streaming systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tools, and secure software delivery.
- Workforce Management application development or WFM platform integration experience is desirable.
- AWS services and Amazon Connect experience are desirable.
- Experience delivering CX, contact-center, or customer-service applications is desirable.
- Knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktop, digital channels, or related operations is desirable.
- Experience integrating CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise systems is desirable.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development or AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus.
