Descriere

  • Lead a portfolio of technology projects and developers working across distributed microservices and full-stack systems
  • Develop solutions that support the company’s regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, learn new tools, and engage with internal and external technology communities
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to the broader engineering community
  • Partner with digital product managers to deliver reliable cloud solutions serving millions of Americans
  • Work with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Provide technical leadership across Agile engineering teams
  • Define standards for software design, development, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
  • Identify improvement areas, reduce technical debt through refactoring, and improve system performance
  • Shape long-term technology strategy by assessing emerging tools and practices in a you-build-it, you-own-it environment

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering
  • At least four years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships
  • At least two years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Employer-sponsored immigration or work authorization support is not available to new applicants
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Preferred: Seven or more years of coding experience with at least two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with databases and database management systems
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Preferred: Four or more years of experience contributing to open-source frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
  • Preferred: Four or more years of experience building synchronous and asynchronous APIs
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with Git-based version control
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience troubleshooting technical issues in cloud environments
  • Preferred: Experience using modern AI coding tools and IDE copilots
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience mentoring engineers and supporting professional development on technical teams
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience using observability to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
  • Preferred: Experience with interactive AI tools beyond basic code completion
  • Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives or large-scale technical programs
  • Preferred: Experience establishing and enforcing coding standards and design patterns across teams
