HelloKindred is seeking a fractional Creative Strategist to shape creative briefs, pitches, and strategic direction for client engagements. This remote South Africa contract supports marketing, creative, and technology staffing work.

- Shape strategic thinking and planning for creative briefs and client projects
- Provide strategic insight and direction before creative work begins
- Contribute strategic perspective and client understanding to pitches and pre-sales
- Turn client and business needs into focused strategic direction
- Create strategic approaches for external client assignments and complex briefs
- Work with creative teams to align strategic thinking with execution
- Strengthen projects that need strategic expertise beyond the core team
- Tailor the level of strategic support to each brief’s scale, complexity, and objectives
- Work with internal partners and external clients to understand their context and business priorities
- Offer strategic guidance across project-based engagements as needed
- Help expand the organization’s strategy capability as its external business develops
Cerințe
- Mid-to-senior experience in creative strategy
- Demonstrated brand and creative strategy experience across B2B, corporate, technology, industrial, or similarly complex sectors
- Quickly identify insights, adapt to new contexts, and build persuasive strategic narratives
- Define propositions and convert complex briefs into clear creative direction
- Experience in an agency or collaborative creative-team environment is preferred
- Strong capability in strategic thinking, planning, and development across creative briefs
- Experience contributing strategy to pre-sales or pitch work, especially for external clients
- Ability to deliver insight and strategic direction before creative execution starts
- Availability for focused project engagements, including assignments of approximately three months
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with creative teams, stakeholders, and clients
- Ability to adjust strategic depth and methods for large, complex, and smaller briefs
- Availability to work part-time or full-time hours according to project needs
- Commercially aware approach to building strategic capability as recurring external work expands
- Legal authorization to live and work in South Africa without employer sponsorship
