Descriere

  • Set the museum’s strategy for digital and physical curation.
  • Uphold high standards for innovation, storytelling, accessibility, and visitor experience across collections and exhibitions.
  • Direct cross-functional teams responsible for physical exhibitions, digital experiences, and curatorial programs.
  • Implement project-management practices that keep initiatives on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
  • Oversee third-party designers’ work for new exhibits, content, and programming.
  • Lead the museum’s digital roadmap to broaden global collection access and increase visitor engagement.
  • Advance digital approaches to exhibition design, storytelling, and accessibility.
  • Develop strategies that connect Walmart’s history and culture with its business and community.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build connection, pride, and engagement.
  • Manage the Walmart Museum, Archives, tours, and related programming within the Museum and Heritage group.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, legal studies, or a related field plus five years of experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or a related area; alternatively, seven years of relevant experience.
  • Four years of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
  • Four years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive portfolio demonstrating digital and physical storytelling work.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital design, content creation, curatorial practice, and collection management.
  • Ability to create and execute long-term strategies for physical and digital exhibitions.
  • Advanced research and analytical skills.
  • Budget-management proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of digital tools and technologies used in museums.
  • Design portfolio review required.
  • Must work in a drug-free workplace and comply with Walmart’s zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.
