Contracts Manager - RTX - Cambridge Hybrid

Manage government and commercial contracts for RTX’s aerospace and defense business in a hybrid Cambridge role. Lead negotiations, proposal support, compliance, risk mitigation, and customer contract execution.

Descriere

  • Advise or represent the organization on contract matters and serve as a liaison between internal and external customers.
  • Review, interpret, negotiate, and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, OTAs, NDAs, ACAs, direct commercial sale agreements, and other transactions.
  • Evaluate customer requests for proposals, identify requirements and risks, assess intellectual property concerns, and review or redline terms and conditions.
  • Oversee cost-volume development and collaborate with pricing and estimating teams on proposal preparation.
  • Support proposal gating, management approvals, and submissions.
  • Interpret, summarize, redline, and draft complex contract terms, conditions, and related documents.
  • Negotiate complex customer contracts.
  • Identify risks in business transactions and contracts, then recommend mitigation strategies and alternatives.
  • Deliver strategic contract analysis, recommendations, and guidance.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, CUI, and global trade requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of forward pricing rates, cost structures, and other financial considerations in proposal and contract support.
  • Work independently while reporting to a Senior Manager.
  • Mentor and oversee contract personnel when required.
  • Manage routine and complex contract and proposal work and respond to urgent needs.
  • Travel domestically as needed, approximately 10%.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience engaging directly with customers.
  • Experience with U.S. government procurement and/or Other Transaction contracts.
  • Experience applying and interpreting FAR, DFARS, and other applicable U.S. government regulations.
  • Experience interpreting, preparing, and negotiating proposals and contracts, including terms and conditions, statements of work, milestones and deliverables, cost or price, and fee or profit arrangements.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed to support other RTX BBN sites, approximately 10%.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day one.
  • TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
  • Experience leading or administering U.S. government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS preferred.
  • Experience with sole-source proposals and TINA preferred.
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial terms and conditions preferred.
  • Experience with OTAs, NDAs, and ACAs preferred.
  • Experience working with universities and familiarity with OMB Uniform Guidance preferred.
  • Experience with ITAR and EAR preferred.
  • Experience working in or with supply chain organizations preferred.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
