Descriere

  • Define Aderant’s technical architecture strategy across SaaS, cloud, AI, data, networking, infrastructure, and security.
  • Turn architectural strategy into standards, guardrails, and reference patterns for Product Management, Application Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Cloud Operations.
  • Use technical judgment to shape product-roadmap trade-offs.
  • Present the architecture vision to clients through executive briefings and detailed technical discussions.
  • Lead design reviews, prototypes, and hands-on investigations of complex technical challenges.
  • Establish standards for extending the core platform and AI foundation.
  • Drive the integration of AI and agentic approaches into product architecture.
  • Work with Cloud Operations to improve infrastructure resilience, cost effectiveness, and operational consistency.
  • Contribute to decisions on governance, data access, integrations, and scalability.
  • Establish and uphold security controls and compliance requirements with Information Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Conduct recurring architecture and security reviews across product groups.
  • Coach senior engineers and mediate architectural conflicts spanning multiple products.

Cerințe

  • At least 12 years of software architecture experience, including 5 or more years as an enterprise or chief architect.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms across multiple cloud providers.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale migrations from legacy or on-premises systems to cloud-based SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience designing products that incorporate AI and machine learning.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, governance, and strategy.
  • Solid knowledge of network and infrastructure architecture, including zero-trust principles and infrastructure as code.
  • Deep application-security expertise and experience working directly with Information Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Experience advising product and engineering leaders on technical strategy and outcomes that support business and technical goals.
  • Ability to work effectively with both C-level clients and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading architecture through direct management and matrixed influence.
  • Experience using AI tools and processes to improve outcomes for products, engineering teams, and clients.
  • Background in legal technology or vertical SaaS.
  • Experience consolidating products following mergers and acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing technical stakeholders across Product, Application Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Cloud Operations.
