- Serve as the main contact for clients’ accounting questions
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial statements
- Review financial statements for errors and inconsistencies
- Prepare and submit compliant tax returns
- Support year-end close activities and apply required adjustments
- Work with internal departments to maintain reliable accounting data
- Advise clients on tax matters
- Oversee clients from a range of business sectors
- Work with ACD and Pennylane accounting software
Cerințe
- Two-year post-secondary qualification in accounting or an equivalent credential
- At least two years of experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Associate in an accounting firm or multisector organization
- Strong command of financial statement preparation methods
- Ability to interpret financial statements and other financial reports
- Detailed knowledge of tax filing packages and compliance requirements
- Strong client service skills and the ability to build professional relationships
- Self-directed, methodical, and highly detail-oriented working style
- Compensation determined by qualifications and experience
