Vice President, Network Development and Contracting – Florida Remote

Lead provider network strategy and contracting for Centene’s Florida health plans in a remote executive role. Direct negotiations, network expansion, reimbursement analysis, budgeting, and provider relations.

Apraksts

  • Direct provider network and contracting operations
  • Shape network strategy through access analysis and operational oversight
  • Provide reimbursement and unit-cost analysis to inform business decisions
  • Coordinate contracting activities and lead negotiation efforts
  • Evaluate data to support provider contract negotiations
  • Guide provider network development across expansion markets
  • Assess network cost, coverage, and growth to identify expansion opportunities
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting for product-line network costs and provider contracts
  • Review provider contracting rates against company strategy
  • Contribute to unit-cost management and selective contracting programs
  • Set the department’s strategic direction, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Create and maintain production and quality standards
  • Support market expansion and M&A due diligence through provider contract analysis
  • Advise health plan CEOs and COOs, along with vendors, on provider relations and strategy
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow applicable company policies and standards

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of network development, provider relations, or contracting management experience in healthcare or managed care
  • Management experience that includes hiring, training, work allocation, and staff performance management
  • Relevant knowledge and experience demonstrating the required scope and skill level may be accepted in lieu of stated qualifications
  • Experience contracting for Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace lines of business in Florida is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • MBA or MHA is preferred
