Lead technical strategy for scalable data platforms, streaming, and analytics at Henry Schein One, supporting dental practice technology. Advance reliability and engineering practices while guiding technical delivery.

- Set technical direction and deliver the Patient Experience and Analytics Solution.
- Represent Data Engineering across the business.
- Work with the team to resolve complex technical problems.
- Review high-impact implementations and demonstrate sound engineering practices.
- Guide offshore engineering teams while contributing directly to technical delivery.
- Maintain product security, compliance, reliability, and operational readiness.
- Work with Product to translate product vision and strategy into technical plans.
- Build cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders to improve customer and user experiences.
- Improve engineering processes, practices, and organizational maturity.
- Shape technical and operational decisions across teams.
- Design, build, and run large-scale data platforms for real-time streaming, batch ETL, data warehousing, CDC, and high-volume analytics.
Prasības
- At least 7 years of progressive experience developing software, databases, and data solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting large-scale data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and high-volume data processing environments.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data movement patterns, and scalable system design.
- Proficiency or experience with Python, Go, PHP, Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB, MySQL, AWS, serverless architecture, CloudFormation, Docker, Kafka, Spark, PySpark, Jira, GitLab, Selenium, Dynatrace, and AI/ML technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-directed, proactive, and adaptable, with a sense of ownership and accountability.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is listed as a differentiator.
- AWS Certified Data Engineer certification is listed as a differentiator.
- Must be able to work remotely from within the United States.
- Travel up to 10% as needed.
