Senior Systems Engineer, Aircraft Certification

Design and modify aircraft systems for SOGECLAIR, preparing engineering and certification documentation. Support requirements verification, testing, supplier coordination, and compliance with FAA, TCCA, and EASA standards.

Apraksts

  • Develop aircraft system designs, modifications, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Produce engineering requirements and system artifacts, including schematics, interface documents, wiring diagrams, certification plans, test plans and reports, and compliance reports.
  • Carry out or support requirements management, validation, and verification.
  • Review installation drawings, qualification test data, and reports.
  • Assess ground and flight test data to confirm system performance and functionality.
  • Contribute to change management through research, concept development, design reviews, trade studies, impact assessments, and implementation.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews and program governance meetings.
  • Help manage system suppliers under technical subcontracts.
  • Demonstrate compliance with FAA 14 CFR Part 25 and TCCA and EASA certification requirements.

Prasības

  • Bachelor of Science in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least five years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder) to meet U.S. ITAR requirements.
  • Experience with or familiarity with ARP4754A for civil aircraft and systems development.
  • Working knowledge of FAA, TCCA, and EASA Part 25 certification requirements.
  • Working knowledge of system safety processes.
  • Familiarity with RTCA DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience with commercial derivative military programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, employees, management, and suppliers.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage time effectively.
