Apraksts

  • Develop refrigeration subsystems that meet chiller and heat pump performance, regulatory, and cost goals.
  • Model chiller and heat pump performance to address system design and product application challenges.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives that improve system performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Choose components and assess how they interact within the complete system.
  • Recommend performance configurations and custom design changes to meet customer needs and support sales orders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and carry out product validation testing.
  • Confirm system performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and calibrate product performance models using test results.
  • Collaborate with Compressor Engineering, Thermal Systems, Controls, Electrical, Manufacturing, and other functional teams.
  • Develop technologies for future products and test concepts and system performance in the laboratory.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • At least six years of engineering experience required.
  • Mechanical engineering preferred.
  • A master’s degree in engineering is a plus.
  • Understanding of HVAC system functions, including refrigeration, heat transfer, airflow, and ventilation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply heat transfer and fluid flow principles to practical problems.
  • Ability to use data analytics tools with laboratory and factory performance data.
  • Ability to interpret, summarize, and organize information to inform engineering decisions.
  • Ability to receive coaching and mentoring from senior employees.
  • Experience designing or applying HVAC products, thermodynamic calculations, pressure vessels, compressors, motors, controls, or heat transfer technologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of data analytics and data-informed decision-making is a plus.
  • Programming knowledge is a plus.
