Apraksts

  • Support accounting, valuation, and reporting for more than 27,000 funds on the AngelList platform
  • Handle manual fund accounting work and resolve exceptions
  • Respond to investor questions and investigate emerging technical issues
  • Review post-close actions and process valuation and accounting updates
  • Check management and administrative fee calculations
  • Prepare scheduled and ad hoc financial reports
  • Work directly with general partners and limited partners
  • Assess portfolio company events and data to determine valuation actions
  • Assist with audited and unaudited financial statements
  • Coordinate with audit firms to complete annual audits
  • Maintain GAAP-compliant portfolio investment accounting and assess special situations
  • Keep investment tracking systems accurate and current
  • Partner with engineering teams to automate work and improve processes
  • Manage assigned team functions and workflows
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects

Prasības

  • At least 3–4 years of operational excellence in financial services
  • Experience in fund administration and public accounting
  • Strong academic record
  • CPA license strongly preferred
  • Effective communication with portfolio companies and lead investors
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and an affinity for processes
  • Willingness to handle hands-on data work
  • Mastery of core financial concepts
  • Strong interest in venture finance, including its legal, accounting, tax, and finance aspects
  • Adaptability to regular change and a drive to improve products and processes
