Hybrid Engineering Manager, AJAX Integrate

Lead cross-project engineering issue resolution for the UK AJAX defence programme. Support Project Leads and Chief Engineers through Tiger Team integration work.

Apraksts

  • Lead engineering issue resolution across projects on the AJAX programme
  • Oversee the identification, analysis and resolution of engineering issues affecting multiple projects
  • Advise Project Leads and Chief Engineers on technical matters
  • Identify design inconsistencies and integration challenges early, and promote mitigation
  • Oversee Tiger Team efforts to resolve critical engineering problems quickly
  • Coordinate communication and alignment across engineering teams
  • Ensure issues, resolutions and lessons learned are documented
  • Identify and mitigate risks arising from integration and design conflicts
  • Support the Integrate Lead in meeting programme requirements, timelines and quality standards
  • Stay up to date with engineering standards, project specifications and industry practices

Prasības

  • UK nationals only
  • SC clearance required
  • Broad and deep experience advising on technical matters and delivering successful engineering outcomes
  • Experience providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful engineering outcomes
  • Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or equivalent
  • Experience managing engineering change and configuration, including asset management, is desirable
  • Experience in an engineering production environment is desirable but not essential
  • Experience managing engineering activity within a Defence Major Programme (GMPP/CAT A) is desirable

Priekšrocības

  • Hybrid working, with two days per week working from home
  • Contract runs through 31 March 2027
