Finance Executive Director

Apraksts

  • Lead the finance function, building scalable systems, managing cash flow, improving profitability, and setting financial strategy.
  • Deliver accurate, audit-ready financial statements by the 20th of each month, with reconciled accounts and no material errors.
  • Maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast and update it weekly.
  • Direct annual budgeting and forecasting across departments.
  • Automate systems and workflows to reduce time spent on manual reporting.
  • Work with leadership to improve profitability and EBITDA.
  • Document standard procedures for closing, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Implement expense, travel, and purchasing systems by Month 6.
  • Create financial dashboards and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with Product, Sales, and Operations on growth, cash flow, and inventory planning.
  • Assess ERP and reporting technology for the company’s scale.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
  • At least five years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including three or more years in leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to make complex information clear.
  • E-commerce or multichannel retail experience is preferred.
  • Collaborative approach and confidence influencing executive decisions.
