Lead engineering strategy, organization growth, and scalable technology platforms at SLR Consulting, a global environmental and sustainability consultancy. Oversee delivery, security, innovation, talent development, and technology operations.

- Set and deliver the long-term technical strategy and roadmap against company objectives
- Work with business units, shared services, operations, finance, and other leaders to prioritize initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and expand a diverse engineering organization spanning data, digital, and AI capabilities
- Direct enterprise architecture, full-stack development, platform, infrastructure, DevOps, and data engineering teams
- Deliver software systems that are scalable, secure, reliable, and consistently high quality
- Establish strong practices for architecture, code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and security
- Recruit, retain, and develop engineering professionals
- Strengthen the engineering leadership pipeline and create structured career development frameworks
- Promote inclusion, innovation, and ongoing learning across the engineering organization
- Improve agile and lean delivery practices, engineering metrics, and delivery predictability
- Assess emerging technologies such as cloud-native platforms, AI/ML, and microservices
- Manage technical risk, data privacy, security standards, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee engineering budgets, suppliers, and infrastructure expenditure
- Align engineering resources with project and initiative priorities
- Advise business leaders and C-suite stakeholders on technical matters
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering
- Five to seven or more years in senior engineering leadership positions at director level or above
- Experience leading engineering organizations in SaaS, consumer technology, fintech, or enterprise software is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to deliver complex, high-scale products and platforms used by thousands of enterprise users
- Servant-leadership approach with a record of building high-trust, high-performing engineering cultures
- Advanced knowledge of modern software architecture, AWS, GCP, Azure, distributed systems, and DevOps
- Experience managing engineering managers and directors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic judgment paired with disciplined execution and operational rigor
- Use of engineering metrics and KPIs to support data-informed decisions
- Experience integrating AI/ML or working with modern frontend and mobile technologies is a plus
