- Manage daily import and export operations to support compliant cross-border movement of products and materials
- Track customs clearance activity and address shipment delays and compliance concerns
- Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics service providers
- Maintain accurate customs declarations, tariff classifications, valuation determinations, and country-of-origin assessments
- Help administer trade compliance programs such as CTPAT, Importer Self-Assessment, Foreign Trade Zones, and Free Trade Agreements
- Perform post-entry reviews, compliance testing, self-assessments, audits, and corrective actions
- Oversee qualification and certification activities for Free Trade Agreements
- Analyze product origin and identify duty-saving opportunities through trade preference programs
- Assist with Foreign Trade Zone administration, including inventory control, reporting, reconciliations, admissions, withdrawals, and audit preparation
- Evaluate trade data, duty expenditure, broker performance measures, and compliance trends
- Create reports, dashboards, and recommendations that strengthen operations and reduce risk
- Work with logistics, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, finance, legal, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies

- At least 3 years of experience in global trade, customs compliance, import/export operations, or a related area
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Experience using BI Publisher for reporting, data extraction, and analysis
- Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, customs entry procedures, and international trade requirements
- Experience supporting CTPAT, ISA, FTZ, and Free Trade Agreement programs
- Knowledge of HTS classification, customs valuation, country-of-origin determinations, and duty mitigation methods
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Licensed Customs Broker certification
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with SAP, JDE, GME, ACE, or other trade management platforms
- Knowledge of export controls, sanctions compliance, and denied-party screening
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer
