Senior Customer Reliability Engineer, Europe Remote

  • Manage customer issues from reproduction through resolution, escalation, and closure
  • Diagnose Linux problems involving processes, networking, storage, kernel logs, resource contention, systemd, and journald
  • Investigate Kubernetes failures involving pods, node conditions, scheduling, and resource limits
  • Troubleshoot GPU issues such as driver and device plugin failures, XID errors, thermal throttling, node cordoning or draining, and multi-node job failures
  • Escalate issues with supporting evidence when needed
  • Take part in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Respond to alerts and customer-reported outages, assess impact, assign severity, and engage the appropriate teams
  • Keep customers informed during incidents, including status and unresolved questions
  • Record incidents and turn findings into runbooks, alerts, or fixes
  • Identify whether faults originate with the provider, Andromeda, or the customer
  • Create and follow up on support tickets with compute providers
  • Monitor recurring provider failures and share patterns with sourcing decision-makers
  • Automate manual checks using Python or Bash
  • Develop and improve cluster and node health monitoring, GPU telemetry, dashboards, and actionable alerts
  • Keep runbooks and customer documentation up to date

  • Hands-on Linux command-line troubleshooting, including logs, processes, networking, and disks
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes pods, nodes, deployments, services, scheduling, and failure investigation
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks with Python or Bash
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to explain issues clearly to customers
  • Sound judgment under pressure when prioritizing, escalating, and communicating
  • Willingness to join a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • NVIDIA GPU production experience with drivers, CUDA, DCGM, and the Kubernetes device plugin is an advantage
  • High-performance networking experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, or NCCL is an advantage
  • HPC or Slurm experience is an advantage
  • Customer-facing technical experience in support engineering, technical account management, solutions, or professional services is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Helm is an advantage
  • Interest in AI infrastructure and large-scale training jobs
