  • Troubleshoot layout design challenges and take proactive steps to resolve them.
  • Partner with design engineers to improve circuit performance.
  • Create analog and mixed-signal layouts.
  • Collaborate with design engineers on layout and verification for high-performance mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuits.
  • Work with circuit engineers to develop topological layouts that support optimal circuit performance.
  • Use Cadence Virtuoso XL and Mentor Calibre tools for layout and verification.

  • Experience designing analog and mixed-signal layouts.
  • Knowledge of device-matching techniques.
  • Knowledge of signal conditioning and protection techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent layout planning and integration skills.
  • Experience routing at block and chip top levels using assisted or automated tools.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso XL.
  • Experience with Mentor Calibre tools.
  • Must be able to access technical data without an export license.
  • Cirrus Logic cannot sponsor or obtain export licenses for this role.
