Inside Sales Representative – Hybrid, Vernon Hills
Manage Intellihot’s sales pipeline, leads, and CRM while supporting regional sales teams. Support a plumbing and water solutions manufacturer in a hybrid role based in Vernon Hills.

- Keep the assigned region’s sales pipeline accurate and current
- Qualify incoming leads and follow up with prospects to develop sales opportunities
- Track active projects and keep updates and next steps on schedule
- Work with independent sales representatives on quotes, product questions, project details, and lead assignments
- Support Regional Sales Managers with proposals, CRM updates, appointment scheduling, and customer follow-up
- Record sales activity, track opportunities, create reports, and maintain complete Salesforce records
- Answer customer questions and share product information
- Communicate by phone, email, and conference calls with engineers, distributors, contractors, and representatives
- Discuss pricing with engineers, distributors, and manufacturer representatives
- Build and apply product knowledge, including water-heater sizing and comparisons with competing equipment
- Coordinate with applications, technical support, customer service, and marketing teams
- Attend quarterly sales meetings at the Vernon Hills office and occasional trade shows

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Practical experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
- Experience in inside sales, sales support, or a related sales role
- Manufacturing or HVAC/plumbing industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage several active opportunities
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to build productive relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams
- Self-directed, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
