- Assess regional sector markets for growth and connect priorities with national strategy
- Provide recurring market intelligence to guide sector delivery
- Create and execute regional sector plans, including defined outcomes
- Pursue strategic targets, expand existing-client relationships, and win new business
- Set and achieve revenue, profit, work-winning, and headcount objectives
- Strengthen the AtkinsRéalis brand and raise the regional sector’s external profile
- Develop thought leadership and respond to client-account feedback
- Contribute to and lead sector bids as appropriate
- Represent AtkinsRéalis across the energy sector, including at industry events
- Direct business-development activity and support learning and development initiatives
- Partner with Sector and Business Leaders to exchange market intelligence and increase opportunity conversion
- Establish service-delivery standards and foster continuous improvement
- Spread effective practices across sector accounts, projects, and programmes
- Maintain high-quality marketing materials for client engagement
- Work across offices, sectors, and the wider business to create innovative solutions
- Leverage the sector network to manage strategic accounts, accelerate growth, and expand market share

- Demonstrated success leading major pursuits for national clients across capital programmes and frameworks
- Substantial senior-level experience managing a large, multidisciplinary consulting team
- Strong leadership capability with a record of motivating and inspiring others
- Detailed understanding of competitors and market differentiators
- Strategic knowledge of the energy market
- APM chartership or a comparable professional qualification
- Relevant security clearance may be required
- Security vetting may require proof of at least five years’ UK residency
