Associate Director, Energy Strategy (Cardiff Hybrid)

Description

  • Assess regional sector markets for growth and connect priorities with national strategy
  • Provide recurring market intelligence to guide sector delivery
  • Create and execute regional sector plans, including defined outcomes
  • Pursue strategic targets, expand existing-client relationships, and win new business
  • Set and achieve revenue, profit, work-winning, and headcount objectives
  • Strengthen the AtkinsRéalis brand and raise the regional sector’s external profile
  • Develop thought leadership and respond to client-account feedback
  • Contribute to and lead sector bids as appropriate
  • Represent AtkinsRéalis across the energy sector, including at industry events
  • Direct business-development activity and support learning and development initiatives
  • Partner with Sector and Business Leaders to exchange market intelligence and increase opportunity conversion
  • Establish service-delivery standards and foster continuous improvement
  • Spread effective practices across sector accounts, projects, and programmes
  • Maintain high-quality marketing materials for client engagement
  • Work across offices, sectors, and the wider business to create innovative solutions
  • Leverage the sector network to manage strategic accounts, accelerate growth, and expand market share

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading major pursuits for national clients across capital programmes and frameworks
  • Substantial senior-level experience managing a large, multidisciplinary consulting team
  • Strong leadership capability with a record of motivating and inspiring others
  • Detailed understanding of competitors and market differentiators
  • Strategic knowledge of the energy market
  • APM chartership or a comparable professional qualification
  • Relevant security clearance may be required
  • Security vetting may require proof of at least five years’ UK residency
