Wealth Operations Analyst I – Toronto Hybrid | TD Asset Management

Support fund administration, reporting, and risk controls as a Wealth Operations Analyst at TD Asset Management in Toronto. Work with portfolio managers, traders, and service providers across investment operations.

Description

  • Prepare, review, and approve daily through annual reporting, along with ad hoc reports, for TDAM and TD Epoch funds and accounts.
  • Support portfolio administration through investigations, cash forecasting, fund flow monitoring, and resolution of operational issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist with ETF administration, income and capital distributions, DRIPs, class actions, and other fund operations.
  • Deliver reporting, operational assistance, and timely updates to portfolio managers, traders, and other business partners.
  • Contribute to audits, risk management, process improvement, and the upkeep of operational procedures and controls.
  • Manage shared team inboxes and organize workloads to meet service levels and deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with Investment Operations teams.
  • Provide cross-functional assistance, share knowledge, and act as operational backup when needed.
  • Partner with portfolio managers, traders, relationship managers, and external service providers to maintain operational accuracy, timely reporting, effective risk management, and strong service levels.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Two to three years of experience in investment operations, asset management operations, wealth operations, fund accounting, or a related financial services setting.
  • Solid knowledge of investment products, portfolio operations, fund accounting, or securities processing.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including analysis, reconciliation, and manipulation of large datasets.
  • Experience with Python and VBA for reporting automation, process improvement, or data analysis is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, SQL, or other reporting and automation tools is an asset.
  • A completed or in-progress CFA designation is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Self-directed team contributor who values continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing business environment.
  • Availability Monday through Friday, including Canadian holiday coverage when required.
