- Manage an ongoing caseload in a busy creditors’ rights practice.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and settlement communications.
- Support contested matters, court appearances, and issue resolution as needed.
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and operations teams to advance cases efficiently.
- Keep clients informed and case records accurate.
- Use sound legal judgment in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work remotely with an experienced multi-state team while managing assigned cases independently.
Requirements
- Hold an active Virginia Bar license.
- Have at least two years of experience in foreclosure, collections, title claims, creditors’ rights, or related default servicing.
- Experience representing lenders, mortgage servicers, financial institutions, or creditors is preferred.
- Be comfortable managing cases in a high-volume legal practice.
- Bring strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Manage deadlines and prioritize matters effectively.
- Work effectively in a remote setting.
- Additional state bar licenses are a significant advantage.
