Training Coordinator (Hybrid)

Coordinate LMS administration, certification-focused training events, and eLearning development for an engineering and environmental services firm. Support learning programs for customers and internal teams through scheduling, instructional design, reporting, and compliance administration.

Description

  • Administer the LMS by organizing course content, helping customers purchase courses through the ecommerce platform, and resolving billing or access issues
  • Generate reports, troubleshoot platform issues, maintain course data, assist users, and improve LMS accessibility and engagement
  • Maintain the annual training calendar with trainers, customers, and venues
  • Plan and coordinate training events within established budgets and timelines
  • Arrange webinars, hybrid sessions, and in-person venues, including schedules, materials, catering, and lodging
  • Support the development and distribution of training materials and promotional items
  • Collect course evaluations and prepare actionable reports
  • Develop and maintain eLearning and enablement solutions using ADDIE, design thinking, and adult learning principles
  • Produce interactive eLearning, videos, instructor-led materials, facilitator guides, job aids, and performance-support resources
  • Partner with subject matter experts on needs and gap analyses, learning objectives, and the conversion of technical content into effective learning experiences
  • Research training-certification requirements across state jurisdictions
  • Maintain the course catalog and related training marketing materials
  • Develop promotional campaigns using a digital email-marketing platform
  • Follow and update the Training Program Process Manual
  • Maintain records supporting IACET accreditation

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience
  • Background coordinating event logistics for multiple audiences
  • Experience managing budgets for training programs
  • Proficiency with LMS administration, training databases, and registration platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Knowledge of training certification requirements or continuing-education compliance
  • Experience analyzing course evaluations, converting feedback into actionable reports, and managing training-coordination deadlines
  • Certifications in instructional design, design thinking, project management, or assessment methods such as Kirkpatrick are preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in instructional design, information technology, multimedia design, graphic design, or education is preferred
