Technology Delivery Analyst Intern (Hybrid)

Join HCSC’s healthcare payer technology projects as an intern supporting data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and recommendations for business decisions. The role includes presenting project outcomes and recommendations to department leadership.

Description

  • Take an active role in HCSC’s structured internship program
  • Manage assigned project components and deliverables with support from a mentor and manager
  • Research topics, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for real business decisions
  • Work with business and technical teams across functions
  • Support departmental initiatives designed to improve business results and member and client experiences
  • Learn and apply organizational processes, programs, and technologies while taking on greater independence and ownership
  • Prepare and present a final internship project, results, and recommendations to department leadership
  • Protect confidential company information and follow HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising senior in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, project management, or computer science; other majors may be considered
  • Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Available throughout the complete 10-week program
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable
  • Previous related technical internship or work experience is preferred but not required
  • Volunteer or leadership experience is preferred but not required
  • Participation in IT associations, organizations, or relevant technical competitions is preferred but not required
  • Interest in the healthcare payer industry or pursuing an IT career
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Results-focused approach, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to learn unfamiliar concepts quickly
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and support multiple projects
