Technical SEO and GEO Specialist – Latin America Remote
Own technical SEO and GEO for legal-services WordPress websites, strengthening performance across traditional and AI-powered search. Improve discoverability, citations, site health, and conversion results through implementation, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Description
- Implement technical SEO improvements across WordPress websites, covering canonical structures, on-page signals, internal links, structured data, crawlability, and indexation
- Plan and execute backlink, content, and authority-building programs to grow organic search performance
- Create and apply GEO and AI Search strategies that increase visibility, relevance, and citations across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
- Plan and manage A/B tests and conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve outcomes
- Partner with UI, content, and web development teams to apply SEO and AI Search best practices
- Monitor site health, Core Web Vitals, technical performance, and visibility in organic and AI search
- Provide clear, timely status updates
- Assume increasing ownership of the SEO strategy
Requirements
- C1-level or higher English proficiency
- Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO, including canonical structures, on-page optimization, internal linking, structured data, technical audits, and backlink strategy
- Experience with GEO, AI Search, LLM SEO, or optimization for AI-powered search experiences is strongly preferred
- Practical experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization methods
- Hands-on knowledge of WordPress and Cloudflare technical configurations
- Experience using Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, or comparable SEO tools
- Able to work independently with web development, content, and design teams
- Familiarity with Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity is a plus
- Based in Latin America
