Systems Engineer I, Avionics — Honeywell, Aguadilla (Hybrid)

Design and integrate avionics systems for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies in Aguadilla. Support requirements, verification, analysis, and development throughout the systems lifecycle.

Description

  • Design, develop, and integrate complex avionics systems.
  • Develop system solutions that respond to changing customer needs.
  • Support systems development from early business development through product end of life.
  • Collaborate across disciplines in the Electronic Solutions Engineering Sensing, Guidance and Navigation business.
  • Contribute to business growth and achievement of key milestones.
  • Manage system requirements.
  • Integrate systems.
  • Verify system performance.
  • Analyze data.
  • Support project performance.
  • Identify and address barriers.
  • Report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
  • Travel up to 15%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • At least one year of engineering experience.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Understanding of systems engineering.
  • Exposure to MATLAB.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected U.S. status under asylum or refugee status.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
  • Focus on important information and identify key details.
