Systems Engineer - Hybrid in Gdansk, Poland

Develop integrated fire-security systems for Aritech, part of Kidde Global Solutions, by translating product requirements into system architectures and specifications. Lead verification, reliability, requirements management, and collaboration across engineering teams.

Description

  • Develop complete system solutions from product requirements
  • Analyze systems throughout the lifecycle, from concept and design through disposal
  • Perform functional, schedule, requirements-allocation, and interface-definition analyses
  • Convert customer needs into hardware, software, and mechanical specifications
  • Break down customer and system requirements into subsystem and component requirements
  • Create verification criteria and test plans
  • Set objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, coordination, and evaluation metrics
  • Assess technologies, resources, procedures, equipment, and systems to support quality improvements
  • Maintain project information in Confluence and JIRA and build useful dashboards
  • Coordinate engineering teams while improving processes, reliability, and overall system performance

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience
  • A university degree, preferably in a technical discipline, is preferred but not mandatory
  • Capacity to work independently with limited managerial supervision
  • Practical experience decomposing and allocating requirements
  • Experience creating verification criteria and plans
  • Experience conducting functional, schedule, and interface-definition analyses
  • Experience with requirements and configuration management
  • Experience in risk analysis and architectural exploration
  • Experience administering Confluence and JIRA, including building meaningful dashboards
  • Willingness to relocate to Gdansk, Poland
