Systems Analyst II, Health & Welfare Benefits Implementations (Remote)

Configure TELUS Health’s proprietary benefits software for major clients in a remote Systems Analyst II role. Investigate implementation issues and turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Description

  • Configure and deploy proprietary Health & Welfare software for major clients
  • Investigate complex issues and create effective technical solutions
  • Present findings with clarity and confidence
  • Work with teammates in an Agile environment, including daily scrums
  • Review business requirements and convert them into technical configurations
  • Deliver high-quality implementation results
  • Build knowledge of industry trends, tools, benefits, and healthcare technology
  • Promote teamwork, exchange knowledge, and assist colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent practical experience
  • One to three years of experience in IT, systems configuration, or implementation
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio is advantageous
  • Experience with ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, or comparable languages
  • Familiarity with configuration tools, Microsoft Office including Copilot, and Azure DevOps is preferred
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and debug issues
  • Knowledge of Health & Welfare Benefits or payroll is strongly valued
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Self-direction combined with a collaborative team approach
