Description

  • Design solution architectures for IT projects and processes
  • Coordinate with business units and Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM)
  • Advise customers on appropriate technology solutions
  • Support infrastructure initiatives from initial planning through implementation
  • Conduct IT security assessments of architectures and solutions
  • Help customers address security, confidentiality, availability, and integrity concerns
  • Collect and document requirements
  • Evaluate potential use cases
  • Determine technical feasibility
  • Build high-performance, highly secure platforms for public-sector customers

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational qualification in an IT-related discipline
  • Several years of experience as an IT architect or in a comparable role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies
  • Experience implementing services across heterogeneous infrastructures
  • Initial experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably private cloud or a comparable environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Customer-focused communication and approach
  • Familiarity with BSI-compliant documentation and IT standards
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later
  • Knowledge of SUSE Linux Enterprise and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably private cloud or AWS
  • Knowledge of MS-SQL, Oracle, and MariaDB/MySQL
  • Knowledge of load balancers such as Radware Alteon
  • Knowledge of middleware including Apache, Tomcat, IIS, and JBoss
  • Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization
  • Knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, firewalls, and routers
  • Experience with backup solutions and strategies
