Summer Treasury Management Services Analyst Intern – Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

Support treasury management research, data analysis, workflow improvements, and automation initiatives at First Citizens Bank. Collaborate with Operations, Information Technology, and Sales teams while completing and presenting an assigned business improvement project.

Description

  • Conduct research, analytics, project work, strategy activities, process reviews, improvement efforts, and technology enhancement assessments.
  • Analyze data to improve process workflows and automation.
  • Collaborate and build relationships across Operations, Information Technology, and Sales.
  • Participate in professional development, informational, networking, and community service events.
  • Complete an assigned project focused on improving a process or solving a business problem.
  • Present the completed project to local leaders and key stakeholders at the end of the internship.
  • Prepare and deliver a final presentation to the division leader and other stakeholders.
  • Handle responsibilities assigned by the direct manager, area leadership, or department leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience.
  • Enrollment at an accredited college or university throughout the summer program.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for the full program.
  • Proficiency with Excel and/or SQL analysis and Visio.
  • Residence within commuting or driving distance of the Raleigh, North Carolina office.
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Preferred proficiency with Excel, Tableau, SQL, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Preferred status as a rising college senior.
  • Preferred pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business or finance.
  • Preferred strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred critical-thinking ability.
  • Preferred ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Preferred ability to adapt and reprioritize according to business needs.
  • Preferred ability to follow direction and absorb information quickly.
