- Own and deliver customer-facing functionality across Hercules
- Develop the AI Agent that helps users create full-stack applications
- Create the App Builder experience for developing, previewing, and deploying applications
- Build SDK capabilities supporting Commerce, Auth, CMS, and Files & Media integrations
- Help advance the PWA-based mobile application-building experience
- Develop a secure, reliable platform experience for enterprise users
- Move quickly, iterate often, and address mistakes promptly
- Create simple, self-service products with a high quality bar
Requirements
- Senior or staff-level experience in product-focused software engineering
- Strong command of software fundamentals, including system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively within monorepos
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver a high volume of customer-facing features
- Well-developed UX and UI judgment, including familiarity with modern frontend innovations
- Experience building SaaS capabilities such as billing, subscriptions, entitlements, product analytics, A/B testing, feature flags, internationalization, and notifications at scale
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, and Redis
- Ability to use leading AI coding tools to substantially improve development speed
- Availability to work in US time zones when remote
- Willingness to travel regularly to the San Francisco office when remote
