Solution Architect - Azure Digital Platforms

Description
- Own and govern end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and operations
- Serve as the principal architecture authority for designated delivery streams and strategic initiatives
- Create and maintain HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, integration and data-flow views, security architecture, decision records, and non-functional requirements
- Govern designs spanning web and mobile applications, digital service layers, API gateways, integration platforms, identity services, Azure, Kubernetes, messaging, observability, databases, and third-party integrations
- Review and approve designs covering authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, encryption, certificates, RBAC, monitoring, logging, tracing, auditability, and operational readiness
- Assess the impact of change requests, integration updates, platform modernization, technical debt remediation, non-functional requirements, and production-readiness needs
- Guide Technical Leads, DevSecOps Engineers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, vendors, and development teams throughout delivery
- Lead architecture and design workshops with business stakeholders, implementation teams, and external partners
- Identify architecture risks, technical constraints, delivery dependencies, and opportunities to improve platforms
- Support critical production incidents, root-cause analysis, release governance, and platform evolution programs
- Ensure work meets regulatory obligations and supports ongoing implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Substantial experience in solution architecture for large-scale enterprise digital platforms
- Strong command of modern application and cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven design, API-first approaches, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience designing and governing solutions using Microsoft Azure, AKS, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Entra ID
- Background designing web, mobile, backend, and API ecosystems for high-volume customer-facing platforms
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, asynchronous integration, containerized workloads, Kubernetes, and enterprise application architecture
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Redis, messaging technologies, and distributed data architectures
- Knowledge of identity and access management, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, encryption, certificate and secrets management, and secure architecture principles
- Ability to produce and govern HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, architecture decision records, sequence diagrams, data flows, and non-functional requirements
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational architecture
- Effective communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Ability to apply sound architecture governance while remaining practical about delivery
- Experience coordinating across teams, vendors, partners, and technology domains in complex delivery environments
- Nice to have: familiarity with React, Android, iOS, Kotlin Multiplatform, Salesforce, Oracle platforms, Kafka, Grafana, Firebase, and Microsoft Sentinel
- Nice to have: experience leading architecture work across multiple delivery streams and vendor teams
- Nice to have: experience with platform modernization, cloud transformation, and large-scale digital transformation programs
- Nice to have: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Kubernetes, or comparable architecture certifications
