Description

  • Set technical direction for a team in the Growth organization.
  • Contribute directly through coding, code reviews, and solution architecture.
  • Promote an AI-first engineering culture with Claude Code and other LLM tools.
  • Work with product and data teams on roadmaps tied to acquisition and retention goals.
  • Develop scalable, reliable, extensible systems with React, TypeScript, and AWS.
  • Hire, mentor, and support the development of engineers.
  • Uphold observability, stability, and quality standards for experiments and product features.
  • Support in-person collaboration at Pebl’s Palo Alto office Monday through Wednesday.

Requirements

  • Bring at least three years of formal engineering management experience leading a team.
  • Demonstrate full-stack development expertise.
  • Have deep experience with React, TypeScript, and AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and RDS.
  • Use LLM-integrated agents, particularly Claude Code, to improve software delivery speed and code quality.
  • Show a record of delivering customer-facing SaaS products focused on growth metrics, conversion, and user experience.
  • Translate complex technical and AI trade-offs into clear plans for leadership and cross-functional partners.
