Software Engineer – Java, Angular & Microservices | ACI Worldwide | Pune Hybrid

Description
- Contribute technical expertise to planning, designing, and developing software systems and applications for product enhancements and new offerings.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions independently.
- Estimate timelines for technical work and project completion for leads and managers.
- Investigate and resolve reported software system issues accurately and efficiently.
- Follow internal software management standards, processes, and procedures.
- Coordinate technical activities for a small project team.
- Organize and schedule project work and individual tasks.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the software, network and system software, and related dependencies.
- Offer development teams guidance and subject matter expertise.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Comply with corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Work primarily on a PC in a standard workplace environment.
- Travel domestically or internationally when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent software development experience.
- At least three years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java programming.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Extensive practical experience developing responsive, dynamic user interfaces with Angular or a comparable front-end framework.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Tanzu.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps methods, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Ability to collaborate across a global team, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Current authorization to work full-time in India.
- Employment visa or work permit sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
