- Develop and maintain full-stack features for serverless web applications
- Own implementation plans for moderately complex engineering work
- Deliver maintainable, scalable solutions that support platform performance
- Produce clean, efficient, testable code with strong performance and observability
- Investigate and resolve technical issues to strengthen system reliability and scalability
- Review code and offer constructive guidance to fellow engineers
- Support junior engineers through mentoring on defined subject areas
- Contribute to DevOps activities, including CI/CD, containerization, and observability
- Partner with cross-functional teams to connect product features with customer and business needs
- Build new capabilities and apply current engineering practices
- Apply serverless technologies to enable rapid, elastic scaling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting software designed for scalability and maintainability
- Strong command of Python, JavaScript, or a comparable programming language
- Working familiarity with frameworks such as Django and React
- Practical experience with APIs, relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and frontend engineering
- Experience developing and deploying within cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Understanding of DevOps methods, including containerization, CI/CD, and observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana
- Strong collaboration skills, along with an initiative to keep learning and mentor others
- Ability to uncover incomplete requirements, clarify open questions, and deliver work that supports business goals
