Site Reliability Engineer - Hybrid in Czechia
Improve the reliability, scalability, and automation of Coupa’s AI-powered spend management platform. Focus on observability, cloud infrastructure, incident response, and resilience across distributed systems.
Description
- Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of Coupa’s platform
- Develop automation that minimizes manual work and strengthens distributed-system resilience
- Partner with Engineering, Platform, Security, AI Platform, and Product teams to incorporate SRE practices into system design
- Advance observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes
- Evaluate platform performance to guide cost optimization, tuning, and resilience planning
- Create infrastructure and automation tools that support reliable, safer deployments
- Investigate and resolve complex production problems across distributed systems
- Facilitate transparent post-incident reviews and convert failures into lasting improvements
- Improve system consistency and maintain runbooks and operational documentation
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or comparable production-focused roles
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities in distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills; English is the standard working language
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
- Working familiarity with Kubernetes or other container-orchestration technologies
- Working familiarity with event-driven system architectures
- Working familiarity with ML/AI workloads and GPU infrastructure
- A collaborative working style suited to diverse engineering teams
