Senior UX/UI Designer - Solventum, Canada (Remote)

Lead research-informed UX/UI design for Solventum’s healthcare solutions in a senior role based remotely in Canada. Shape accessible digital experiences and support the development of designers across cross-functional product teams.

Description

  • Lead UX/UI initiatives from strategic planning and user research through delivery.
  • Develop design insights and solutions that improve usability and strengthen the product experience.
  • Partner with product management, engineering, and marketing to define design briefs and convert requirements into clear objectives.
  • Create UX/UI outputs such as wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
  • Plan and analyze user research, usability testing, and market trend findings.
  • Guide and develop junior designers through mentoring and coaching.
  • Apply brand and accessibility standards consistently across digital experiences.
  • Contribute to design critiques, present concepts, and help align stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging tools, practices, and trends to improve design quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field plus four years of professional UX/UI experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries; or a high school diploma/GED plus eight years of professional UX/UI experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Strong knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
  • Able to influence and align stakeholders with varied perspectives.
  • Willingness to travel 10%.
