Senior Systems Analyst at Afya (Hybrid, Brazil)

Description
- Lead systems development, improvement, and support from requirements discovery through implementation
- Build and refine front-end and back-end applications with strong quality, performance, security, and scalability
- Create responsive user interfaces with Next.js and TailwindCSS
- Deliver back-end solutions with NestJS, APIs, integrations, and business logic
- Manage application state and real-time communication with TanStack Query and SSE (EventSource)
- Use PostgreSQL and TypeORM for data persistence and manipulation
- Implement and maintain authentication and security controls, including SAML 2.0
- Create and maintain automated tests with Vitest, Jest, and Supertest
- Use Redis for caching, performance improvements, and in-memory data management
- Apply Databricks and artificial intelligence capabilities to relevant solutions and projects
- Work with Azure services including Key Vault, Container Apps (ACA), and Azure DevOps
- Promote best practices across development, architecture, quality, security, and version control
- Partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with company objectives
- Join technical discussions, solve problems, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work independently, share technical expertise, and support team development
Requirements
- Experience contributing to systems development projects
- Advanced proficiency with Next.js
- Advanced proficiency with TailwindCSS
- Working knowledge of TanStack Query
- Experience with or knowledge of SSE (EventSource)
- Knowledge of SAML 2.0, authentication, and security concepts
- Advanced proficiency with NestJS
- Experience using TypeORM
- Working knowledge of Redis
- Experience creating automated tests with Vitest, Jest, and/or Supertest
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience with or knowledge of Databricks
- Interest in or experience applying artificial intelligence to technology solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, particularly Key Vault, Container Apps (ACA), and Azure DevOps
- Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical problems
