Senior SQL System Analyst – Remote in the Philippines
Senior SQL System Analyst responsible for optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases, T-SQL code, and operational data pipelines. The fully remote role involves resolving complex technical issues and partnering with business and engineering teams.
Description
- Build, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and other database objects in Microsoft SQL Server using T-SQL.
- Investigate database and application problems, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
- Work with business teams, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Serve as an escalation contact for customer and business-related technical issues.
- Drive prompt issue resolution while supporting customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and support data pipelines and database processes that underpin business operations.
- Assess and prioritize issues and tasks across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Work autonomously while contributing effectively within a distributed, culturally diverse remote team.
- Explain technical concepts and business information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a comparable position.
- Strong focus on writing raw SQL and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.
- Extensive experience designing and optimizing SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Practical experience with ERP systems and enterprise data architectures.
- Experience with Apparel/Footwear PLM systems is a strong advantage.
- Capability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong collaboration skills across technical, business, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently within a distributed and culturally diverse remote team.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical concepts and business information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to work from 7 PM to 3 AM Philippine Time.
