Senior Solution Architect, Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning (Bangalore Onsite)

Lead Blue Yonder supply chain planning implementations through functional design, AI/ML forecasting, testing, training, and customer delivery. Partner with project teams and stakeholders to guide solution deployment and adoption.

Description

  • Integrate technical and functional requirements to support efficient solution implementations.
  • Accelerate go-lives and deployments through agile delivery and value-focused execution.
  • Act as the functional liaison among project teams, customer users, key contacts, and executive sponsors.
  • Develop functional specifications, assess user needs, and contribute to process analysis and solution design.
  • Define specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens that support customer business objectives.
  • Advise customers on industry practices, process methods, and Blue Yonder configuration.
  • Support Project Managers with planning activities and detailed work breakdown structures.
  • Build and communicate business cases for future product capabilities and enhancements.
  • Develop and apply AI/ML algorithms for statistical forecasting.
  • Lead business diagnostics, process analysis, and as-is/to-be solution design workshops.
  • Create functional test scripts and deliver tailored end-user training.
  • Execute projects independently while maintaining high delivery standards.
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing customer engagements and projects.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and secure final business-owner approval and sign-off.
  • Track customer defects with Blue Yonder Support Services.
  • Provide non-technical end-user assistance during and after go-live.
  • Transfer knowledge to customer project teams and end users.
  • Report project risks and escalate issues affecting schedule, scope, or budget.
  • Guide Support Services on foundational technical issues.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Represent Blue Yonder at industry conferences and workshops when required.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of hands-on experience as a functional consultant delivering supply chain solutions to customers.
  • Experience implementing Blue Yonder solutions as a customer or consultant is preferred.
  • An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research is preferred; a bachelor’s degree combined with relevant industry experience may substitute.
  • Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with Oracle, SAP, or major ERP and supply chain planning platforms may be considered.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of statistical algorithms and supply chain management concepts.
  • Understanding of tactical planning across the broader supply chain.
  • APICS or TOGAF certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in management consulting or a Supply Chain Center of Excellence environment is preferred.
  • Skills and availability aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Knowledge of performance-tuning techniques is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the technical requirements for the assigned product line.
  • Understanding of database structures, technical platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of the Blue Yonder product suite and its integrations and touchpoints.
  • Ability to prepare and present material to users and management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
