Description

  • Create secure, scalable automation and response capabilities
  • Help customers investigate and address security events across cloud and enterprise environments
  • Lead complex features from initial design through release preparation and production support
  • Develop systems that are observable, dependable, maintainable, and safe to deploy
  • Investigate customer escalations and resolve security issues
  • Apply AI-assisted development and automation to speed engineering, improve testing, and strengthen troubleshooting
  • Shape technical direction and support the growth of fellow engineers
  • Work with product managers and partners across functional teams
  • Take part in a rotating on-call schedule to diagnose production incidents and escalations
  • Create workflow orchestration that automates response actions and reduces manual security operations effort

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 4 years of related experience, or a PhD and 2 years of related experience
  • Hands-on programming experience with Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience designing, delivering, and supporting reliable production software, including cloud services
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and performance troubleshooting
  • Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and delivery approaches using Docker, containers, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Django or Flask, or with front-end technologies including JavaScript and React
  • Familiarity with security operations, SIEM, Automation and Response, or Splunk integrations
  • Experience with Linux systems, networking, or enterprise software deployment
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, SOC 2, or FIPS security and compliance requirements
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and design decisions while working with engineers and product managers
  • Applicants must be located in the United States
